Step-by-Step Guide:
Log in to your Mailercloud account.
Click on your name in the bottom left corner of the sidebar and select Account.
In the Integrations section, find the API Keys tab and click on it.
To generate a new API key, click on the Create API Key button.
A pop-up will appear. Enter an appropriate name for the API key and click the Generate Key button.
The newly generated API key will now be displayed in the list of API keys.
You can copy the API key by clicking on the copy icon next to the API key. Use this API key to integrate with your desired services.
You can edit or delete the API keys at any time.
Best Practices and Tips with API Keys
Assign a distinct API key for each integration and label it with the integration’s name.
Keep your API keys in a secure location. Ensure your API keys are not exposed publicly.
When sharing screenshots or videos, conceal or remove the API key entirely.
Do not send API keys via email. If your email account is compromised, the API keys can be misused to access your Mailercloud account.
Delete unused API keys.
