# Can the same contact be on multiple email lists?

The help doc explains whether the same contact can be on multiple email lists in email marketing.

**Yes! Mailercloud now supports the same contact being on multiple email lists.**

You can add a contact to multiple lists directly from the **Edit Contact** page using the multi-select option. This means you can assign or remove a contact from multiple lists without deleting or re-importing them.
