How do you create an account on Mailercloud?

 

It is effortless and quick to create an account on Mailercloud. Follow the steps below, and you will own an account in no time.

  • On the top right corner of the mailercloud.com homepage, you will find the Free Sign Up button.

  • Fill up all your details in the form that opens, set a strong password, agree to terms and conditions and click the sign-up button.

  • A verification email will be sent to the email address you provided. Please also check the spam folder.

  • Confirm your email id by clicking on the green “confirm my email address” button. If for some reason that does not work click the link below it. In case of finding it in your spam folder, do not forget to report it as not spam.

After the email verification is finished, you will have to fill up your physical address. Even though this section might raise your eyebrows in surprise, it is to comply with international anti-spam laws and provide you with a safe and secure experience.

You will now be on the Dashboard of your new free Mailercloud account. You can start creating new campaigns after completing the steps mentioned in the Dashboard.

How do you reset your password?

If you want to change your password,

  • Click on the menu bar or taskbar on your left side.

  • In the bottom left corner, you will be able to see your name as the owner of the account. Click on it. Then in the menu that pops up click Account Settings.

  • After that, click on Profile.

  • In your Profile below your User Information, you will see the Change Password link.

  • Click on it, change your password and then click on update.

 

Your password is now reset in a few simple steps.

Alternatively, you can also change your password by clicking on the Forgot your password link on the login page.

 

 

  • Type your email address and press the Reset Password button to receive an email for further instructions on changing your password.

 

  • You will receive an email with a link to reset the password.

 

  • Click on the link to be redirected to the page where you can type in your new password. Please ensure that you have a strong password.

  • Once you have entered your new password, press the Reset Password.

Your new password has been set, and you can smoothly log back into Mailercloud to continue working on your campaigns.

How long does it take to create a Mailercloud account?

Creating a Mailercloud account won't take much time. You need to add a contact list, complete the domain authentication, verify the sender ID and you are good to go.

 

How to add a contact list/Audience? 

Mailercloud allows you to add your contacts/audience in the following ways:-

 

  •  By uploading the CSV file, containing all the required contacts directly.
  •  By simply copy-pasting the contacts from the available document.
  • By adding individual contacts one-by-one, and filling in all the contact details. For adding individuals, contact details like the first name, surname, place, and country should be filled in. You can also add details like zip/postcode. You could also add other relevant minor details.

I am asked to authenticate the domain. What is domain authentication?

Will domain authentication affect my current email sending potential? 

No, domain authentication will not affect your current email sending potential.

 

How many domains can I authenticate in a plan?

You can authenticate as many domains as you want in a plan. 

 

Do I get a role-based email ID?

Yes, we allow users to create role-based emails like ceo@abc.com, sales@abc.com, and such others. 

 

Should I authenticate the domain before creating the contact list?

There is no such restriction here. One can complete any of these two processes first, as they want. 

 

Can I create duplicate data?

No, you must maintain unique data against all your contacts, as duplicate records can lead to confusion at your end and can affect your email marketing experience.
