You can connect Mailercloud to Claude by adding the official Mailercloud MCP server, https://mcp.mailercloud.com/mcp, as a custom connector and signing in with a Mailercloud API key. It takes about two minutes and works in claude.ai, the Claude desktop app and the Claude mobile app.

What do I need to connect Mailercloud to Claude?
A Mailercloud account and an API key. Create the key in Mailercloud under Settings > API Keys, name it "Claude", and copy it. You only see it once.
A Claude plan with custom connectors: Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise.
How do I add Mailercloud to Claude?
Open claude.ai or the Claude desktop app and go to Customize > Connectors (in older versions, Settings > Connectors).
Click + Add > Add custom connector.
Enter the name Mailercloud and the URL https://mcp.mailercloud.com/mcp, then click Add.
Click Connect next to Mailercloud. On the Mailercloud sign-in page, paste your API key and click Connect.
In a chat, click + > Connectors and make sure Mailercloud is switched on.
Test it by asking Claude: "What can you do with my Mailercloud account?" Claude replies with an overview of your account and what you can do from chat.
Once added on claude.ai, Mailercloud is also available in the Claude mobile app.
How do Team and Enterprise organisations add Mailercloud?
An owner goes to Organization settings > Connectors > Add > Custom > Web, enters the name Mailercloud and the URL https://mcp.mailercloud.com/mcp, and saves. Each member then opens Customize > Connectors, clicks Connect next to Mailercloud and signs in with their own Mailercloud API key.
What can Claude do with Mailercloud?
With the Mailercloud MCP server, Claude can analyse campaign results, design emails in Mailercloud's drag-and-drop editor, create and schedule campaigns, manage contacts, lists, tags and segments, send transactional emails, and check sending domains. The connector has 77 tools and five ready-made prompts (getting_started, plan_campaign, audit_draft, monthly_review and clean_my_list), which you find in Claude's + menu.
Will Claude send emails or delete things without asking?
No. Mailercloud shows a preview first for anything that sends, schedules, deletes or blocks, and waits for you to reply yes. Claude also asks your permission before it uses a tool. Choose "Allow always" only for tools you're comfortable with, and keep approval on for tools that send or delete.
Mailercloud isn't working in Claude. What should I check?
The sign-in page doesn't open: allow pop-ups for claude.ai and click Connect again.
Claude doesn't use Mailercloud: check that it's switched on under + > Connectors in this chat, or start your message with "Using Mailercloud, ...".
It stopped working: the API key may have been deleted. Create a new key, then disconnect and connect Mailercloud again.
Free plan: you can have only one custom connector. Remove another one first.
How do I disconnect Mailercloud from Claude?
Remove Mailercloud under Customize > Connectors, then delete the API key in Mailercloud under Settings > API Keys. Deleting the key stops access immediately.
