Which ChatGPT plans can use Mailercloud?
Custom MCP apps are available on paid ChatGPT plans, on the web. On Business, Enterprise and Edu plans an admin or owner may need to add or allow the app first, and some plans only allow reading data, not making changes. OpenAI changes this often, so check OpenAI's help for your plan.
How do I add Mailercloud to ChatGPT?
In Mailercloud, go to Settings > API Keys, create a key named "ChatGPT" and copy it.
In ChatGPT on the web, open the apps or connectors settings and choose to add a custom MCP server. On some plans you first switch on Developer mode in the advanced settings.
Enter the name Mailercloud, a short description such as "My Mailercloud email marketing account", and the URL https://mcp.mailercloud.com/mcp. Choose OAuth sign-in if asked, accept the notice, and create it.
On the Mailercloud sign-in page, paste your API key and click Connect.
In a new chat, click + and choose Mailercloud, or type @Mailercloud.
Test it by asking: "Using Mailercloud, what can you do with my account?"
What can ChatGPT do with Mailercloud?
With the Mailercloud MCP server, ChatGPT can explain campaign results, compare campaigns, design and draft emails, look up and update contacts, build segments, check sending domains and send test emails. Plans that allow changes can also schedule campaigns and send transactional emails, always after a preview and your yes.
Will ChatGPT send emails or delete things without asking?
No. For anything that sends, schedules, deletes or blocks, Mailercloud shows a preview and waits for you to reply yes. ChatGPT may also ask you to confirm actions. Read each preview before you approve it.
Mailercloud isn't working in ChatGPT. What should I check?
I can't find where to add it: custom MCP apps aren't available on every plan, and on business plans your admin may need to allow them. The option is only on the web, not in the mobile apps.
ChatGPT doesn't use Mailercloud: pick Mailercloud from the + menu in the chat, or type @Mailercloud.
It can read but not change anything: your ChatGPT plan may allow reading only.
"Invalid API key": create a new key under Settings > API Keys and connect again.
How do I disconnect Mailercloud from ChatGPT?
Remove the Mailercloud app in ChatGPT's apps or connectors settings, then delete the API key in Mailercloud under Settings > API Keys.
